ChiropractorNearMe.com (“the site”) is a free directory of chiropractors. It is operated by NearMe Networks, LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the site uses, where it comes from, and the choices you have.

The short version

Where directory listings come from

Practice and provider details (names, credentials, practice addresses, phone and fax numbers, and NPI numbers) come from:

These listings describe businesses and licensed professionals in their professional capacity. If something is wrong or you would like a listing removed, use the claim or correction form.

Information you send us

When you use the claim or correction form, we collect:

We use this only to review your request, verify it where needed, update or remove the listing, and contact you about it. To protect the form from spam and abuse, we also store a one-way, non-reversible hash of your IP address, your browser’s user-agent string, and the time of your request. We keep submissions only as long as needed to handle the request and keep a record of changes to listings, and in any case no longer than 24 months.

Your location

If you tap “Chiropractors near me”, your browser asks for permission to share your location. Your coordinates are used only to run that search and appear in the search page address; we do not store them. We may also use the approximate city of your internet connection, provided by our hosting network, to suggest nearby practices. That is not stored either.

Cookies and analytics

The site does not set cookies for advertising, tracking or analytics, and we do not use third-party analytics or ad networks. Our hosting provider may keep standard, short-lived technical logs (such as IP address, page requested and time) for security, abuse prevention and reliability.

Service providers (processors)

We use a small number of providers who process data on our behalf, under their own security and privacy terms:

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users or others.

Corrections and removal

Anyone can ask us to correct a listing. Practice owners and the professionals listed can ask us to remove a listing or a provider from it. Use the claim or correction form and choose the option that fits. We may ask you to confirm that you are connected to the practice before making changes. Because NPI data is public and refreshed regularly, we record removal requests so the listing stays removed after future updates.

California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

To make a request, use the form, choose “Something else”, and describe your request. We will verify it using the contact details you give us and respond within the time the law requires (generally 45 days). An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf with your written permission.

Children

The site is intended for a general adult audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

Form submissions are stored in a private database area that is not accessible from the public website, and connections to the site are encrypted (HTTPS). No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect the information we hold.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
